Mark has 30 years of maintenance through management experience. He acquired his initial training in the US Air Force, studying electronics and avionics. The field of Electronic Warfare gave Mark a solid foundation in airborne electronics. Upon leaving the Air Force, he spent 10 years with DynCorp — 3 years as an Electronics Technician and 7 as an Avionics Manager. In early 2000, Mark moved to General Aviation. He spent 6 months as an Avionics Technician and 3+ years as the Avionics Manager at the Piedmont Hawthorne Raytheon Service Center. In 2006, Mark assisted in developing the avionics installation department for a new facility as the Avionics Installation Manager. In 2010, he returned to the Raytheon (Hawker Beechcraft) Service Center in Leesburg with Landmark Aviation, which then included a Diamond Aircraft Service Center, to rebuild an avionics division. In 2012, ProJet Aviation took over FBO/MRO operations at Leesburg Executive Airport. Mark was the Service Manager until 2014. In that year, Mark founded the MRO division with Cycle Aviation. Mark is a multi-engine rated pilot, owns a fully restored award-winning Piper Cherokee, and shares ownership of a Cessna 310.
Richard began his aviation career at Leesburg Executive Airport with American Beechcraft Aircraft Service Center. Over the years during the transitions from American Beechcraft to Piedmont Hawthorne to Landmark Aviation to ProJet Aviation, and now to Cycle Aviation, Richard’s knowledge and extensive experience within the General Aviation world have proven his exceptional aptitude of parts procurement. Richard is DOT Hazmat certificated. Qualified to handle company logistics with all aircraft manufacturers. Richard’s contacts within general aviation to find it or fix it, are vast. Richard is an avid runner with several 5k, 10k, half marathons and one Marine Corp Marathon under his belt. Lives in Charles Town, WV with his wife and has a daughter studying at Shepherd University.
As the Office Manager for Cycle Aviation, Bonny Daniels, brings more than three decades of managerial and administrative experience. Her responsibilities encompass many aspects of our business, including AP/AR, Human Resources and Customer Service. Prior to her current role, Bonny was an Employee Benefits Account Manager, where she advised and guided local small business executives in Employee Benefits and plan designs, Federal and State employee Compliance and ACA. Bonny also worked in Risk Management, as a Claims Supervisor for the third largest Auto insurer in the country. She graduated Magna Cum Laude from American InterContinental University with a Bachelor Degree in Business Management. In her spare time, Bonny and her husband enjoy traveling.
